With a background in clinical research, emergency medicine, and product innovation, she brings over a decade of experience across healthcare, pharma, and early-stage tech. A cancer survivor and lifelong builder, Ophir founded Maitri out of personal pain—turning her own experience into a platform for meaningful, human-centered change.
 

A passionate advocate for patient-centered design, she combines strategic thinking with emotional intelligence, and believes in leading with empathy, grit, and purpose.
 

At Maitri, she focuses on building a new model for support in times of medical crisis—leveraging smart technology, evidence-based practices, and the strength of human connection.

Yaara Nussinovitch is an adaptive and versatile executive leader with over a decade of experience in global, high-growth product and technology organizations. 
 

With a strong background in business development, project management and operations, she has helped grow and scale early-stage and mid-sized tech companies by driving strategic initiatives, optimizing processes, and fostering high-performing teams.

Dr. Shelly Latte-Naor,
MD, MSCP

Advisor

Dr. Shelly Latte-Naor is a board-certified Internist, Integrative Medicine Physician, and Menopause Care Specialist with a focus on Mind-Body Medicine and non-pharmacologic support for cancer patients.

 

She takes an integrative approach to patient care and advises on evidence-based complementary therapies to improve treatment adherence, minimize side effects, and enhance quality of life.  

 

Previously, Dr. Latte-Naor served as Director of the Mind-Body Medicine Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her research explores non-pharmacologic symptom management, including mindfulness-based interventions for cancer survivors. 

 

As Medical Advisor to Maitri, she brings her expertise in patient-centered care to help shape solutions that support individuals navigating cancer journeys.
